The Printing and Publishing House of the Order

The apostolate of the Faith is carried chiefly through the Collegium Reginae Caeli — the College of the Queen of Heaven — the printing and publishing house of the Order. Through it the OMRC produces sacred art, devotional materials, catechetical texts, and liturgical resources faithful to the Traditional Roman Rite.

The press has always been a battlefield. What is printed is what endures, what is handed on, what forms the imagination of the faithful long after the argument that produced it is forgotten. In an age of spiritual confusion and doctrinal ambiguity, beautiful and orthodox Catholic materials are both a shield for the faithful and a lamp in the darkness.

Every publication bearing our name is offered under the protection of Our Lady and to the greater glory of God.

What We Publish and Why

We publish nothing that we would not put into the hands of our own children. Our materials are rooted in the perennial Magisterium, in the Traditional Latin Mass and the sacramental life that surrounds it, and in the devotional patrimony — the Rosary, the litanies, the novenas, the prayers of the saints — that has formed Catholics for centuries.

The Traditional Latin Mass, codified by St. Pius V and carried across oceans by missionaries and whispered in prison cells by martyrs, is not an antiquarian curiosity. It is a living treasury. The saints were formed by it, the cathedrals were built for it, and the chant was composed to adorn it. We stand as its guardians, and we print in its service.

"Sacred art must be beautiful, for it is offered to God, who is Beauty itself." — The mind of the Order

The Work in Practice

Members write, translate, edit, illustrate, design, print, and distribute. Others sell and ship, keep the accounts, or simply put the finished work into the hands of the faithful who need it. An artist and a bookkeeper serve the same apostolate.

The shop of the Collegium is being prepared, and its first materials will be offered there.

Take Up This Work

If you write, draw, print, or simply wish to put good books into Catholic hands, the Collegium has work for you.
