Ordo Militantium Reginae Caeli
We who belong to the Ordo Militantium Reginae Caeli bear her name upon our lips and upon our seal. Reginae Caeli — Queen of Heaven. These are not merely beautiful words. They are a declaration, a proclamation, a battle standard planted firmly in the ground of eternity.
She is the woman of the Apocalypse, clothed with the sun, the moon beneath her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars — the very image enshrined upon our shield. She is the Theotokos, the God-bearer, proclaimed at Ephesus in 431. She is the Immaculate Conception, solemnly defined by Blessed Pius IX in 1854. She is the Queen assumed body and soul into Heaven, as Pius XII defined in Munificentissimus Deus in 1950. She is not a legend. She is not a symbol. She is a person, a mother — our mother — reigning in glory at the right hand of her Divine Son.
What does a Queen expect of her soldiers? Loyalty. Constancy. The willingness to stand when all around are kneeling before the idols of the age. She does not ask for fair-weather devotion. She asks for the Rosary prayed daily, for the Brown Scapular worn faithfully, for the First Saturdays kept devoutly. She asks for hearts that are hers — wholly, entirely, without reservation.

The Order claims as its Co-Patron the Venerable Fulton J. Sheen — that great son of the American Church, that titan of the Faith, that voice crying in the wilderness of the twentieth century. Archbishop Sheen understood, perhaps better than any man of his age, that the crisis of the modern world was not political, not economic, not social — it was spiritual. It was a crisis of souls. And he spent every breath God gave him fighting for those souls.
He stood before the cameras of a skeptical, secular nation and spoke the truths of the Catholic Faith with clarity, with charity, and with a wit sharper than any sword. He spoke of sin when the world denied it. He spoke of redemption when the world had forgotten it needed saving. He spoke of Our Lady when even some within the Church had grown embarrassed by her.
Sheen had a profound and tender devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. He attributed every grace of his priesthood and apostolate to her intercession. He was ordained on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and renewed his consecration to Our Lady every single day of his priestly life. He feared no one but God. He compromised nothing. And he won countless souls for Christ through His Mother.
He is our Co-Patron because he is the living proof that a militant Catholic in the modern age need carry no weapon but truth, spoken with love and backed by prayer.

There is one more pillar upon which this Order stands, and we speak of it plainly and without apology: our fidelity to Holy Tradition. To the ancient ways of the Church. To the Mass, the Sacraments, the prayers, the theology, the piety — the whole patrimony of Catholic civilization as it was handed down from the Apostles, through the Fathers, through the great Councils, and through a hundred generations of faithful Catholics who suffered and died so that we might receive the Faith whole and intact.
The Traditional Latin Mass — the Missa of St. Gregory the Great, codified by St. Pius V in 1570, carried across oceans by missionaries and whispered in prison cells by martyrs — is not an antiquarian curiosity. It is a living treasury. The saints were formed by it. The great cathedrals were built for it. Gregorian chant was composed to adorn it.
We, the Ordo Militantium Reginae Caeli, stand as its guardians. This is not nostalgia. This is not stubbornness. It is fidelity. We will not dilute the Faith. We will not trade the eternal for the fashionable. We will not exchange the chant of the angels for the applause of the world.

The printing and publishing apostolate of the Order operates under the name Collegium Reginae Caeli — the College of the Queen of Heaven. Through this house, the OMRC produces sacred art, devotional materials, catechetical texts, and liturgical resources faithful to the Traditional Roman Rite.
In an age of spiritual confusion and doctrinal ambiguity, we believe that beautiful, orthodox, traditionally rooted Catholic materials serve as both a shield for the faithful and a lamp in the darkness. Every publication that bears our name is offered under the protection of Our Lady and to the greater glory of God.
The Order is open to all practicing Catholics of at least 18 years of age who feel called to serve Our Lady and defend the Traditional Faith through prayer, charity, and apostolic work.
